dxlog v1.0.0
dxLog
dxLog is a nearly trivial logging system used by dxData. It has a couple advantages over directly writing to console.log:
- It provides a "log level" value which can be used to limit which kinds of messages actually get written
- It provides an easy place to add future richer behaviors in one place, rather than needing to modify all clients.
This is actively supported on:
- Internet Explorer 9-11
- Latest Chrome
- Latest Edge
- Latest Firefox
- Latest Safari
How to use it
- npm install dxLog
- in your files dxLog = require('dxLog'); ... dxLog.fail('This did not work');
- Use setLogLevel(dxLog.LEVEL.DEBUG), for example, to limit what log messages get reported.
