EE ESLINT PLUGIN

The EE ESLint plugin is a collection of ESLint rules that enforce the EE coding standards. The plugin is used to ensure that the codebase is consistent and follows the coding standards. The plugin is used in conjunction with ESLint to lint the codebase and enforce the coding standards.

Features

The EE ESLint plugin provides the following features:

Installation

To install the EE ESLint plugin, follow these steps:

  1. Install ESLint if you haven't already installed it. You can install ESLint using npm or yarn:
npm install eslint --save-dev
  1. Install the EE ESLint plugin using npm or yarn:
npm install ee-eslint-plugin --save-dev
  1. Create an ESLint configuration file (.eslintrc.js) in the root of your project and add the following configuration:

  plugins: ['@eagleeye'],
  extends: ['plugin:@eagleeye/recommended'],
};
  1. Run ESLint to lint your codebase:
npx eslint .

Usage

The EE ESLint plugin provides a set of rules that enforce the EE coding standards. The rules are categorized into the following categories:

TESTING THE PLUGIN LOCALLY To test the plugin locally, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository:
git clone
  1. Install the dependencies:
npm install

EE DEVELOPMENT

To develop the EE ESLint plugin, follow these steps:

Follow the steps above to install the plugin locally. Once you have installed the plugin, you can make changes to the rules in the lib/rules directory. Run the tests to ensure that the changes are working as expected. Once you are happy with the changes, you can publish the new version of the plugin to npm.

Run the tests before publishing:

npm link

then from the dashboard-ui directory run:

npm link ee-eslint-plugin

finally, Run the tests:

npm test

This will make the plugin available globally on your system. You can then use the plugin in your projects by running npx eslint . in the root of your project.
