Motivation

Eyecontrol-text-to-speech is designed to be simple and universal text to speech service that uses microsoft azure.

Usage

Instantiante the logger

In order to use the web-logger, you need to instantiate it with different parameters:

import { getTtsService } from 'eyecontrol-text-to-speech';

let azureApiKey = this.configService.get<string>('AZURE_API_KEY');
this.ttsService = getTtsService({azureApiKey}); 

Usage

After you instantianted the eyecontrol-text-to-speech, you can call its function "synthesize". You need to call this function with 2 parameters: text and voice.

    let audio = await this.ttsService.synthesize(text, voice); 

Installation

Installing npm (node package manager)

  curl https://npmjs.org/install.sh | sh

Installing eyecontrol-web-logger

  [sudo] npm install eyecontrol-text-to-speech
