Installation

npm i fahm-chat

Tooling configs

For most of the tools, the configuration is in the package.json to reduce the amount of files in your project.

If you customize the configuration a lot, you can consider moving them to individual files.

Local Demo with web-dev-server

npm start

To run a local development server that serves the basic demo located in demo/index.html


Framework specific docs

The <fahm-chat> component provides an easy way to integrate a chat interface into your application.

However, some additional configuration may be required depending on your specific framework and design needs. The component documentation below provides examples for React, Angular, Vue, Svelte and vanilla JS, but these are just a starting point. Make sure to consult your framework's documentation for any specific requirements when adding custom Web Components like FahmChat.

Some additional styling or layout adjustments may be needed to seamlessly integrate the chat UI into your existing application. The component provides the core chat functionality, but full integration will depend on your specific implementation.

Usage

The chat component takes two properties:

  • endpoint - The API endpoint to connect to for chat
  • apikey - Your API key for authentication

Example:

Install the component:

npm install @yourname/fahm-chat
