Family Tree CLI Tool

A command-line tool for managing and querying family relationships in a family tree.

Usage

To use the Family Tree CLI Tool, you can run the following commands in your terminal:

Add a New Person

Command: family-tree add-person <name>

Description: Adds a new person to the family tree.

Example:

family-tree add-person John Shakespeare

Add a New Relationship

Command: family-tree add-relationship <relationship>

Description: Adds a new relationship that can be used to connect people.

Example:

family-tree add-relationship father

Connect Two People with a Relationship

Command: family-tree connect-relationship <name1> <name2> <relationship>

Description: Connects two people with a specific relationship.

Example:

family-tree connect-relationship "Mary Arden" "John Shakespeare" wife

Count Relationships of a Person

Command: family-tree count <name> <relationship>

Description: Counts the number of a specific relationship for a person.

Example:

family-tree count "John Shakespeare" son

Get Father of a Person

Command: family-tree father-of <name>

Description: Retrieves and displays the name of the father of a person.

Example:

family-tree father-of "John Shakespeare"

List All People

Command: family-tree list

Description: Lists all people in the family tree along with their relationships.

Example:

family-tree list

Clear Family Tree

Command: family-tree clear

Description: Clears all data from the family tree storage.

Example:
