the library is broken down into sections of different instruments. the section menu is located at the top of the interface and controls the functions of the section. each section has several controls including a play button, mute/unmute button, and a slider to control volume. the slider is quite useful and allows the user to adjust the volume for a section as the tune is being played.


the native indian flute section has two flutes and two percussion sounds that can be turned on and off with the play and mute buttons. another change that can be made is the instrument volume which is a slider in the middle. it gives the user the ability to adjust the amount that is sounded on the sound. another interesting feature is the transient mixer located to the left of the play button. this section allows the user to change the attack, sustain, and release settings.


important: this is not a rompler or plugin - with this version you will simply be downloading the outer limits sample library in wav format which you can use with any music software - you don't get the ni kompakt instrument interface - but everything has been set up in kontakt patches which you also get, so if you have ni kontakt then all the instruments are already programmed, mapped out and playable.


please note: you must have a full version of kontakt version 4.2.4 or above to use this sample library. it will not work in the free kontakt player. kontakt's time machine 2 algorithm requires it to run entirely in memory. it is recommended therefore that you use this in a 64bit environment with over 4 gb ram. 84d34552a1
