generator-lambda-basic

This generator creates an absolutely minimal AWS Lambda app skeleton in typescript.

Installation

First, install Yeoman and generator-lambda-basic using npm (we assume you have pre-installed node.js).

npm install -g yo typescript
npm install -g generator-lambda-basic

Then generate your new project:

yo lambda-basic

Build

npm run build

Deployment

Zip all transpiled javascript files under the js folder along with node_modules, and upload it to Lambda.

In the AWS Lambda console, set the handler to index.default.
