i just downloaded the latest version of chrome on my xp machine. it is now the only browser i have on my system. it appears to be working well for me. however, is the only thing keeping me from a total switch to chrome is google. i really like the chrome browser and how it works. as you may know, i do not like the ad-blocking feature of firefox. i do like that feature of chrome. i have the privacy option turned on and sometimes it blocks ads. what can i do to make sure i do not get annoyed at all times with ads?

i actually just got an old version of chrome for windows xp and it works great. it did used to work in firefox, but it would crash. i am stuck because i am old and cant do everything i used to be able to do with firefox.

i am using ghostery, and i am having problems with a few specific websites. i cannot access certain websites because they have a blocker. i have tried to disable this, but it doesnt seem to work. i know i have adblock installed, because i have tried to block the ads there as well.

there are numerous benefits to using an ad blocker. here are some of the most common ones: reduce browser memory use. browser extensions add about 30mb to the size of a browser. ad blockers remove that memory overhead. you can use a very lightweight browser like opera or firefox if you want a faster browsing experience. improve browsing speed. lighter browsers load web pages faster than heavier ones. ad blockers make your browsing experience faster by removing the use of resources like javascript, css, or css. reduce the amount of data you have to stream. ad blockers reduce the bandwidth that websites and ads use by disabling them. this makes your browsing experience faster and more efficient. improve your privacy. ad blockers prevent websites from tracking your browsing activity and collecting information about your browser. ad blockers also prevent websites from accessing information about you and your computer. prevent security threats. ad blockers can catch ad trackers and malware before they can track your activity or install malware on your computer. ad blockers also catch pop-up windows and phishing pages before they can trick you into giving your personal information. 84d34552a1
