This is a duet track that is sung by Yogi Sekar and Fareedha. The song starts off on a mysterious note, partially due to the nature of the first two songs of the album. You have no idea where the song is going to lead to, until Yogi Sekar's voice glides in to tell you that it going to be a melody. This song keeps getting better as it progresses. While Sekar's singing is great, Fareedha's voice tops that. When you think things can't better, an interlude kicks in, taking you to heaven. If you think heaven is the limit, Ananthu's divine voice in the background tells you there is something more. This one pulls the rug under your feet.
A song that Krishna liked was quite a departure from the norm. As I remember it, he asked me to write about Krishna. I did. And he liked it too. The song is about Krishna being born. But the second line of the song is about the myth of the krishnas birth, that of Krishna, an elephant. It has lines like 'Krishna antha en naal, Krishnas getting born into two worlds, ille thena singa thodukkaran', The first world for him is the world of his father's herd and the other his mothers. Krishna was born in the morning at 5 am. For the line 'Krishnas getting born into two worlds', I came across the idea in an essay written by Ron Larson, the director of the Sargam dance troupe. In the song 'Krishna God', just before the bridge, the song reverts to the language of the earlier songs in the album. The direct object of the verbs that Krishna is getting is the dancers and there is a bridge line. The direct object of the verbs that are followed by adjectives of the various aspects of Krishna, comes after the direct object of the verbs of the dancers. The singer and the dancers stand for Krishna. 84d34552a1
