for me, it was very easy to relate to her character. she had no qualms in playing up to the stereotypical indian woman stereotype. her character in the film, kajal, acts as a mother figure to gaurav (which is a brilliant character, i must add) she tries to get him to focus and do well in his exams. kajal is a typical mother hen, and the fact that she is married to a cricketer makes her naturally protective and keeping an eye on her son. and thus she is not bothered when gaurav's dad and his bride try to chase him away. the fact that she is always nagging him to be a man and not give into their childish banter, makes her character easily likeable. the story is about football and gaurav's dad trying to take over his family business. and then there's the cricketer, kamal who's trying to step up as a father figure to his son. and kajal is a very important part of the love triangle. there are many parallels with my name is khan.


suresh and chamundeswari are a happy couple since a long time, but this was their first trip as a married couple, as per the reports. their is no scope to say anything, because only the couple knows how will they are going to use their limited time span.
