Gooni

Gooni is a powerful CLI tool for installing custom components in your React projects. Similar to shadcn ui, it allows you to easily copy and integrate a set of components into your project.

Installation

Install Gooni globally using npm:

npx create-turbo@latest -e with-changesets

Usage

After installation, you can use Gooni by running the following command in your terminal:

gooni

This will launch an interactive interface that guides you through the process of selecting and installing components.

Features

  • Easy-to-use CLI interface
  • Seamless integration with React and Material-UI projects
  • Support for custom MUI components, including autocomplete and select
  • Automatic installation of peer dependencies

Benefits

  1. Time-saving: Quickly add pre-built, customizable components to your project.
  2. Consistency: Maintain a consistent look and feel across your application.
  3. Flexibility: Choose only the components you need, keeping your project lean.
  4. Up-to-date: Always get the latest versions of components and their dependencies.

Supported Components

Gooni currently supports various MUI-based components, including:

  • FilterableOptionList

And more to come!

Requirements

Gooni works best with projects using:

  • React (v17.0.0 or v18.0.0+)
