hapi-rest-facebook-auth

Build Status

Helps you to implement facebook auth with hapi and REST, also use https://github.com/theotow/basic-facebook-api in combination with this.

Usage

Requires every request to have a payload like this (POST, DELETE, PUT ...)

{
    auth : {
        token: "<facebooktoken>",
        userId: "<facebookUserid>"
    },
    // .... more data
}

Register auth strategy

var validate = function (userId, token, callback) {

    // validate user data
    callback(error, valid(boolean));
};

var server = new Hapi.Server();
server.connection();
server.register(require('hapi-rest-facebook-auth'), function (err) {

  server.auth.strategy('default', 'hapi-rest-facebook-auth', {validateFunc: validate});
});

Apply plugin to route

server.route({
    method: 'POST', path: '/', handler: function (request, reply) {
        return reply('ok');
    }, config: {auth: 'default'}
});
