helper-hybrid v0.2.2
helper-hybrid
Handlebars helpers to work for both, markdown and html output.
Purpose
This library solves a common problem for me:
Writing documentation in (GitHub flavored) markdown with extended markdown syntax, which can then be used in a nice formatted way in Html, but at the same time a GitHub markdown compliant output should be generated.
Installation
Install with npm
npm install handlebars-hybrid --save
Usage
var Handlebars = require( 'handlebars' );
var hbHybrid = require('helper-hybrid');
// enable the html path
hbHybrid.init( 'html' ).register( Handlebars, {} );
// or enable the markdown path
hbHybrid.init( 'markdown' ).register( Handlebars, {} );
Running tests
Install dev dependencies:
$ npm i -d && npm test
