jplay v0.1.0
Easily generate a playground directory for quick node.js prototyping on MacOS.
Installation
Might put it on NPM at some point. For now just clone & link. yarn global add jplay
can obviously be replaced with npm i jplay -g
.
You should be able to just copy and paste the below into your shell.
yarn global add jplay
Usage
Without options
Creates a directory on your Desktop, with NPM ready to go. Opens the directory in Finder and opens the file in your preferred editor.
jplay
# File written @ /Users/<user>/Desktop/playground/playground.js
With options
Optional arguments for filename and path to create the directory. (The last element of your path option will be the directory to create)
jplay --path ~/your/path --file yourfilename.js
# File written @ /Users/<user>/your/path/yourfilename.js
