TotalMedia 3.5 has three very impressive photo/video slide show themes to choose from: Banquets, Party, and Weddings. However, TotalMedia 3.5 seems to use the Win7 theme in its sample photo/video slide show. Each theme includes a selection of transition effects to choose from, which are displayed on the left side of the screen, and can be moved around on the screen to your liking. These features are accessed by using the arrow keys on the keyboard or by clicking and dragging on the icon. Dragging on the the icon to choose a theme is a bit clunky, however. The themes all have their own controls on their own little menus. Once you've selected your desired slide show theme, the window will automatically appear with your selected photos and video in Full Screen view, and your photo/video slideshows are displayed within the control windows. The control windows is where the rest of the functionality of the slide show is found.
Seen on the right side of the screen is a Full Screen button. Clicking this button brings up a Full Screen window where you can select thumbnail pictures from your photos/videos to be used as the slide show images. The Windows 7 Presentation Foundation (WPF) technology is used to create this very impressive Full Screen window. TotalMedia 3.5 does not support the Windows XP Presentation Foundation (XPFP), which is very disappointing. Another disappointing thing about TotalMedia 3.5 is that its image/video slideshow does not support the Photo Viewer window found in Windows Vista and Windows 7. Consequently, you cannot add new images or video files to your slideshow from your memory card. The only option is to browse your drive for images and videos. 84d34552a1
