networkview works as a network discovery and management tool. it can be used to gather information about your network and to monitor it. networkview is very easy to use. the software is compatible with windows vista, windows xp, windows 2000, windows nt, and windows 98. it is available as a free shareware version, and also as a standalone professional edition. visit the official networkview website to learn more.

if you are getting ready to set up a network, its probably a good idea to know as much as possible about the network you are installing. networkview can be used to gather information about your network, and to monitor it, so you can be sure that it is configured correctly.

by default, networkview displays icons next to items that represent devices on the network that have a connection to the internet. in the image shown in figure c, networkview shows the icon next to the nic of the router. when an icon is selected, you can click on the icon to access detailed information about the device.

networkview supports multiple network devices. to view a list of network devices on the network, click the view icon on the top toolbar or select view.. from the menu at the top of the networkview window.
