Knoxville Marathon 2023 Live Half Marathon Broadcast

The Marathon, 2-Person Relay, 4-Person Relay, and Half Marathon will be held on Sunday, April 2. The marathon, relays, and half marathon will start at 7:30 am.

The marathon course has been designed to show off Knoxville and run through several of its fine neighborhoods. We know that this year, the neighborhoods along the route are planning some great support.

From the inaugural marathon in 2005 to today, Covenant Health’s sports medicine specialists, physical therapists, exercise physiologists, and fitness professionals help thousands of runners and walkers train and prepare for the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon. Our hope is that the marathon will increase community awareness of the many benefits of regular exercise and motivate people to pursue more active and healthier lifestyles.

The Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon includes a 26.2-mile marathon, 13.1-mile half marathon, four-person marathon relay, two-person marathon relay, 5K run and one-mile fun run for children age 12 and younger.

The Covenant Kids Run is more than just a race day event. It’s a whole program that encourages kids to log mileage, completing the equivalent of a 26.2-mile marathon in three months’ time. Learn more about the Covenant Kids Run by clicking here.
