Lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

Purpose

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.

Usage

Install it:

npm install @ablapat/lotide

Require it:

const _ = require('@ablapat/lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

Documentation

The following functions are currently implemented:

  • head(array): Finds and returns array0
  • tail(array): Finds and returns end of array
  • middle(array): Finds and returns the middle of the array
  • letterPositions(array): Gives indexes of each of the letters in an array
  • map(array): gives the first letter of each item of an array of strings
  • eqObjects: compares objects
  • countLetters: counts letters
  • findKey: finds the key
  • findKeyByValue: finds key by value

Description

Working with arrays and objects, finding certain things within them.
