this project was initially a fork of vue-audio-visual, reimplemented and tweaked for the needs of kift. if you've stumbled across this package, you should check out vue-audio-visual for a more robust version filled with more functionality and style concerns. vue-audio-visual will most likely meet your needs better than this very specific implementation.

the core intention of maw-of-kift is to interact with socket.io to communicate with a backend that regenerates an audio file. when that audio file is generated, kift will utter it visually for the user.
