It has been 47 days since my last encounter with another human being. I have to admit that I question who I am still writing this for. A deep desire of annihilation is growing stronger every day. Why continue with this continuous struggle to survive? The silence of the night, the vague outlines of my surroundings in the dark, the distant noise of rain and thunder - everything feels so alien, so hostile, and so utterly meaningless that it seems inevitable; The nights are getting colder with temperatures dropping slightly even below 0 degrees Celcius. If there is still somebody out there, I pray that they have found shelter. It is safe to stay here for now, wherever here is.

The sun is about to come up, a new day begins. During daylight I continue my quest to search for a Javascript minifier that supports EcmaScript6 but every attempt ends in disappointment. I can not give up, I refuse to give up. I made you a promise. I will create one myself if I have to, using esprima and escodegen I scavenged from NPM. There is always a way.

Mini.js

Mini.js promises to compress your EcmaScript6 code. It uses esprima to parse a Javascript file to an AST (Abstract Syntax Tree) and then simply generates compressed code using escodegen.

Install it

npm install mini.js

Require it

minify = require('mini.js')

Use it

minify('thing.js').then(data => {
	console.log(data) //minified code
}).catch(reason => {
	/* unable to minify because of reason
	   there is probably a syntax error in thing.js */
})

Until next time.

Involuntary public figure.
