i have the exact same problem as the first poster. i used this program as the cost is less than the others i tried and the program installs easily, but i can't export any of my objects. it is the same problem with all autocad products. i have tried most of the available translator programs but none of them work with any of the products i tried. for me, the problem is that the object is not simply being copied into the new file but is being "translated" or "remapped". for example, any point or dimension that starts in a text box in the old file is automatically moved to the new file and now it is in a new text box, which, in turn, is moved to a new point or dimension. if i continue this cycle, i end up with the original layout but all of the new objects are in new places. this is not how it should work. i would be happy to try any of the plug-ins that have been mentioned in this thread if any of them work for autocad lt. unfortunately, they do not. if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, i would be very grateful.


i have used the oem version of this software and find that it is not as good as some of the other software i have tried. the program is very slow and takes a long time to load. once loaded, it does not load any of my files and does not save any changes to the file. i can not find any place to select the file to import or export, so i have to manually copy and paste each layer. i don't know if there is something wrong with my file or if there is a problem with the software. i have tried to run the program on my son's computer and the same thing happens, so i am not sure if it is a software problem or something wrong with his computer. the only good thing about this software is that it is free and the only other program of this type is very expensive. i will continue to use it until i figure out how to fix it or i find something better. i would be happy to try any of the programs that have been mentioned in this thread if they work for autocad lt. i have tried the program from autodesk and it does not work for me. i have also tried the program from redwood systems. it does not work for me either. i have tried many of the programs mentioned in this thread and they do not work for me. any help would be greatly appreciated. 84d34552a1
