Object versioning and id generation for any JSON object

Ovid was originally developed to support offlinefirst, an off-line first key-value store. Versioning is required to support synchronization when multiple clients are using the same centralized online store. It was extracted to simplify maintenance and since it is a generally usefule module.

Ovid supports multiple version conflict resolution schemes including:

1) most recent version 2) most recently touched 3) most recent version, then most recently touched 4) most recently touched, then most recent version

Versioning can apply at the object level or the property level.

Ovid was also was a Roman poet who lived during the reign of Augustus. He is best known for The Metamorphoses. Comprising fifteen books and over 250 myths, the poem chronicles the history of the world from its creation to the deification of Julius Caesar within a loose mythico-historical framework.
