anonymous coward just reported this new software. with this new tool, you can setup your own virtual environment within the program without a virtual machine. this is done through a separate program called xinstall, which allows the user to import settings from one windows installation to another. this tool has been released as early as 2011, but some new features have been added.  the tool can create a virtual windows installation with the operating system. it can also go through the process of creating a new virtual machine, and it can create a complete development virtual machine for further projects.  instead of using a lot of disk space, the process is designed to only use a small portion of the program’s files and data. what’s more, the virtual installation includes all the major programs and applications that have been installed in a complete windows installation, such as microsoft office. to use xinstall, create the virtual installation using a second windows installation and then follow the instructions.  first, install xinstall and run it. select the project from which you want to import settings, and click import settings.  the settings and files will be imported, with all the directory structures and files intact. then, start the project. if everything goes well, then you can start developing, and if you wish, you can copy the settings project to another system.  the process of importing settings is free.  github hasn’t implemented automatic releases for this project.  internet connection is needed for this tool to work properly. 84d34552a1
