Pkg-Refs

Simple tool to take a quick look on given package's dependencies.

Install

npm install -g pkg-refs

Usage

Command line tool with short-form pkgd. After a short time, it will list out all the dependecies and the decriptions for them.

# search package name online
pkgd <package name>

# parse local package.json
pkgd < package.json
package.json | pkgd

# or give the path to package.json
pkgd anyProject/package.json

# even shorter, cd to project folder,
# and read the package.json automatically
pkgd .

$ pkgd express
