i do enjoy some of these movies, the one where a couple of coeds go out and try to survive in this world for a whole night, but i thought the first one was the best. the second one, while much more of an action flick, was still a better film and made it way more enjoyable, but this one, like the first one, was not a hit by any means. i prefer the first one over this one, but this does make me want to check out the third one, which is supposed to be the best.

'the purge: anarchy' may have been entertaining, but it wasnt a financial success and overall failed to reach the standards set in the first one. its aim is to be more political rather than just a festival of death and the message got lost a bit. if this is the last one, which i hope not, they need to have a better ending. they need to take advantage of that storyline and spin off. but i didnt feel a connection to these characters and while i enjoyed what they did, it just left me wanting more. this was a good movie to check out if you like the first one, but if you have not seen that, you might want to skip this one.

we start out with a very recognizable image of the terminator and sends a message to the whole world: humanity is ready to fight back. this is the new american revolution. after this shot, we see the casualties and mayhem is very real. the scenes are well edited and the production values are high, and are of course, intercut with footage of the remnants of civilization after the bloodbath.

first, i think its important to note that the tag should only be present if a movie has a score of > 0. if its negative, dont bother because its either not a score worth getting credit for or because its just the opposite of what you want, and you dont want that. if a movie doesnt have a score, you have to set it as a tag anyway. from then on, you pick a genre and then its up to you how many tags you want to have 84d34552a1
