The concept of the Seventh day Adventist Church's Book of Life project is to have a sort of book of life for each person. A private communication channel is established for each of the individuals. All individuals' hearts are scanned and recorded in the Book of Life. Then, on the second Sunday of every month, a group of people from the Seventh-day Adventist Church are together and ask individuals to give a confession. This is done through a solemn exercise in which the individuals write their sinful thoughts and bad deeds on a torn page and then drop it on the floor. After the exercise is complete, the Book of Life is opened. The sinners are then given a 2-week period of time to repent. If they do not, they are automatically moved to the seventh day of a certain category. If they repented, then they are re-programmed and all of their sins erased. This is done through a solemn exercise in which the Seventh-day Adventist Church prays for the individual to be re-programmed and all of their sins erased. When the 2-week period is over, the individual is removed from the Book of Life and the cycle continues. The Book of Life is a very serious and solemn record of the sins of the individuals whose hearts have been scanned. The book is just as serious as the sinners would want the process to be. If one were to cheat, then all of his or her sins and wrongdoings would be documented and that person would remain in the Book of Life and that would not be good for him or her.
