Quickstream

npm install -g quickstream

Command line media server to quickly stream media. Will start a file-stream server at your ip, for local/global sharing. This may be used to stream a file from your pc to XBMC, Airplay or a Chromecast. Only one file for now, will add a playlist feature.

Usage:

quickstream [options] <file>

Options:

-h, --help         output usage information
-V, --version      output the version number
-p, --port <port>  Port on which to listen to (defaults to 8080)
-s, --silent       No logging.
-c, --copy         Copy server url to clipboard.

Inspired by peerflix. No torrenting involved in this one.
