node-run-sql

CLI tool that reads a SQL file and runs the query in a specified db

Installation

Install this package by running $ npm install -g run-sql-cli

Usage

$ run-sql <file> [options]

f.e.:
$ run-sql ./schema.sql --user=root --password=root --database=my_db

Options:

--host optional The hostname of the database you are connecting to.
--port optional The port number to connect to.
--user The MySQL user to authenticate as.
--password The password of that MySQL user.
--socketPath optional The path to a unix domain socket to connect to. When used host and port are ignored.
--database Name of the database to use for this connection

-V, --version output the version number
-h, --help output usage information
