Department officials are reviewing call types and additional offenses may be added to the current list of online reportable incidents.

Cyber Crimes Unit Investigators located a suspicious post on Nixle that led to the discovery of an active MS13 gang member. The threat was traced back to a specific location on a street in San Angelo. FBI in Houston were able to assist with the investigation that led to the identification of William F. Vazquez who has been charged with distribution of Cocaine. Vazquez is now also being charged in his home jurisdiction in Williamson County. The San Angelo Police Department along with the Williamson County District Attorney's Office and FBI helped locate and arrest Vazquez.

San Angelo Police actively working with the Department of Family & Protective Services (DFPS) and the Williamson County District Attorney's Office have made six arrests of parents facing charges of neglect, child abandonment, and endangering a child. A tip led to the successful apprehension of a parent whose child was also seized. The Department of Family & Protective Services is now removing the children from the parent and charging the parents with serious criminal charges. 84d34552a1
