Lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

Purpose

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.

Usage

Install it:

npm install sahilsh17lotide

Require it:

const _ = require('sahilsh17lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

Documentation

The following functions are currently implemented:

• function1(middle): displays middle elements in an array
• function2(map): changes an array based on the given function
• function3(tail): displays last elements of an array except the first array element
• function4(head): returns first element of an array or first character of a string
• function5(findKeys): Returns the key of an object.
• function6(findKeysByValue): returns key of an object when the value is provided.
• function7(countOnly): returns the number of object key based on truthy and falsy values
• function8(countLetters): returns number of each character in a string as an object.
• function9(letterPositions): returns an object having positions of characters in a string.
• function10(without): returns an array without an element, accepts 2 arguments(array, element).
• function11(takeUntil): returns an array based on the condition.
