with red hat enterprise linux 8, the prompt_timeout command-line tool supports the --long option. if the --long option is used, the user is prompted to enter a number of seconds to specify a timeout. users can enter values that are greater than or equal to 60 seconds. in this case, the number of seconds is taken as the value. if the --long option is not used, the timeout period is 60 seconds.

the backup_store_type argument in the bconsole command line tool has been updated for red hat enterprise linux 8. the backup_store_type argument takes on the following values: local, duplicity, ecryptfs, and nfs. for backwards compatibility with previous versions of red hat enterprise linux, the local value can be used with the --local flag.

previously, installing the fio tool would result in the warning: cannot remove /usr/sbin/fio: no such file or directory. in this release, we do not have any changes to address this warning. however, if you wish to remove fio, you must be careful to remove all the files and directories related to fio from the /usr/sbin directory.

this release of the samsung recovery solution (v4.0.4) adds support for the --chmod=* option. previously, the --chmod=* option could only be used with the findmnt command. findmnt is used to find files and directories to be added to the mount point. with this release of the tool, the findmnt command is able to specify the mount point and the number of --chmod=* options to be used when mounting a file or directory. 84d34552a1
