What is Sapien?

Sapien Secure API framework on Express for Noobs (I really wanted the acronym to fit basically)

Sapien is a framework written with express & node.js. It is designed to make the express framework simpler to use whilst also securing a lot of the functionality down. It is designed primarily for API use and has authentication and sessioning built in.
