introduction

For someone who can't access the github sometimes, and can resolve by specify the github hosts. This package is just help you to query the ip address of the github and update the host files automatically.

install

Simply use the command bellow.

npm install -g setgithub

use sudo prefix if prompts do not accessiable. Or you can use a administrator identification to run the CMD and then excute above command.

sudo npm install -g setgithub

usage

As have to modify the hosts file, most time you should excute follow command as a sudoer. or use a administrator user to run the CMD.

sudo setgithubhost check
