if you like the action and are looking for a little story, i can say without a doubt, that this ova is for you. it really offers more content than the first season did, and its packed with quality action sequences. i recommend this as a starting point if you're looking for a show about shana. the second episode will hopefully see even more of shana and aizen than this one did. im hoping they continue to pull the many references to bleach and leave characters. let them do it more.


and for those of you who love the romantic side, i promise i wont screw it up. i just have to be warned that there is a lot of shana and yuuji in this episode. yuuji: i was able to enjoy myself when you weren't around (d: shana: ahahaha! ) shana: im sorry. im serious this time. im sorry. (ugh, what a good start.) yuuji: its okay. im not mad. whats that? (shana scared of him?!) shana: whoa. that thing you did with your hand was kinda freaky. (yuuji: what?!) yuuji: i wasnt asking you to say anything. but you were so close to me. is there something you want to say? (darn it! tsundere!!! :,( ) shana: its fine. dont worry. (its fine?! dont worry?!) shana: yuuji. please let me in. (wtf! whats wrong with you?!) yuuji: i want you to kiss me.  shana:.. ( yuuji: uuuuuuuuuuuuu!


as far as the romance, i feel no pressing urge to stick my nose in it, since a ton of events have happened in this episode. but shana sure has shown a lot of growing and maturity since last season. though i doubt yusa would have been able to help here if shana hadnt found her sister. i also really hope that shana doesnt feel the need to resolve all the problems with yuuji in this season. if i were her, im sure i would be trying to talk things out, the way she did with oda. instead, her plan is to talk to aizen, face to face, soon. which is probably best, since shes being dragged around by his army all the time, especially after this episode. 84d34552a1
