we've installed the sheridan control successfully on other windows 7 64 bt pcs, but it refuses to install on my new pc. i've selected compatibility modes for xp and vista (both of which it ran on,) and it will not install. the error message remains unchanged. it's also unclear, when the compatibility troubleshooter says start the program.. that it is doing anything. that could be the problem.

also, it appears that threed32.ocx (sheridan 3d controls) is what comes with vb6, but every time i go to add them (which doesn't work anyway, per the above), i get asked that i have a newer version, and would i like to use them. it wants to substitute threed20.ocx (sheridan active threed controls). now, they won't work either, and they also give me an error message saying they're not installed /before/ the message that says they're not licensed. what gives. can i use these controls and which ones

we have updated the resource library for the ssa3d30.ocx activex control. these changes include: added one more ssa3d30.ocx resource string (for a total of six resource strings) added two new strings to support translation for the ssa3d30.ocx control.
