Usage

  • install redis
    npm i redis
    const Redis = require("redis")

    module.exports = Redis.createClient({})
  • es6 module
    import { createClient } from "redis"

    export const Redis = createClient({})
  • install simple-redis-caching
    npm i simple-redis-caching
    const { set } = require("simple-redis-caching");
    const client = require("./config.js");
  • es6 module
    import { set } from "simple-redis-caching";
    import client from "./config.js";
  • save method
  import { set } from "simple-redis-caching";
  import client from "./config.js";

    client.connect()

    args = {
            key: "cache_1",
            value: "cache 1",
            expiration: 60,
        };

    const save = async () => {

          await set(client, args);
    };

    // or

    const save = async () => {

    };
  • get method

Error message

throw new TypeError('Invalid argument type')
this error is sended when type object is different from type object Cache
  • Ex:
