stable-diffusion-react

Stable Diffusion for React

NPM JavaScript Style Guide

Install

Overview

The "stable-diffusion-react" library provides stable diffusion functionality for React applications. It allows users to generate images using stable diffusion based on provided prompts.

The "stable-diffusion-react" library serves as a glue layer between the stable diffusion API exposed by Automatic 1111 and your React application. To use this library, you need to have the backend set up, which is available in the following repository: https://github.com/AbdBarho/stable-diffusion-webui-docker.

Additionally, for the models that allow converting text to images, you can obtain them from websites like https://civitai.com/models/4823/deliberate.

Usage

Step 1: Installation

Install the library in your React project using npm:

npm install --save stable-diffusion-react

Step 2: Importing

In your React components, import the necessary modules:

import MyComponent from 'stable-diffusion-react'

Step 3: Initializing the Configuration

Before using the library, you need to initialize it with the desired configuration using the init function. The configuration options include apiUrl, defaultPrompt, defaultNegativePrompt, defaultWidth, defaultHeight, defaultSteps, defaultSamplingSteps, defaultCFGScale, and defaultSamplingMethod.

const configuration = {
  apiUrl: 'https://your-stable-diffusion-url.com/sdapi/v1/txt2img', // Replace with the actual API URL
  defaultPrompt: 'Enter your prompt here', // Replace with default prompt text (optional)
  defaultNegativePrompt: 'Enter your negative prompt here', // Replace with default negative prompt text (optional)
  defaultWidth: 500, // Replace with default image width (optional)
  defaultHeight: 500, // Replace with default image height (optional)
  defaultSteps: 20, // Replace with default number of steps (optional)
  defaultSamplingSteps: 10, // Replace with default number of sampling steps (optional)
  defaultCFGScale: 1.0, // Replace with default CFG scale (optional)
  defaultSamplingMethod: 'EulerAncestralDiscretScheduler' // Replace with default sampling method (optional)
}

init(configuration)

Step 4: Generating Images

Use the generate function to generate images based on the provided prompts. The generate function returns a Promise that resolves to the generated image.

import React, { useEffect } from 'react'
import { generate } from 'stable-diffusion-react'

const StableDiffusionExample = () => {
  useEffect(() => {
    const fetchData = async () => {
      try {
        const generatedImage = await generate({
          prompt: 'Cute dog',
          negative: 'ugly cat'
        })
        // Use the generatedImage as needed, e.g., display it in the UI
      } catch (error) {
        // Handle any errors that occur during image generation
      }
    }

    fetchData()
  }, [])

  return <MyComponent />
}

export default StableDiffusionExample
