the government has announced that summer vacations for the next year will start on may 22, 2020, the weekend of eid-ul-fitr. schools are expected to resume on june 1. this is the first time in pakistan's history that summer vacation will start from the second half of may. students will be returning on july 31. the government will provide a standard summer vacation of approximately ten weeks.
