this is a course for be computer students who are already having computer science as a specialization, with a total of 2 lecture and 1.5 practical per semester. it is an updated version of a regular course with updated syllabus and course materials. the students will be familiarized with various computer simulation techniques and the developments in this area.

this is a course for undergraduate students majoring in computer science and engineering. it is based on ioe syllabus updated with some new concepts. the course is designed to introduce the students to the basic concepts of simulation, the tools used for simulation, the solution techniques for simulation and the principles of modeling with the help of graphics software, such as matlab and visual basic for application. the course may be the basis for selection of major in the above mentioned students.

one of the main design goals of the gpss is to allow the user to specify models in a generic programming language. this is intended to make the application of the gpss a simple and straightforward task. the ability to use a programming language that is familiar to the modeler is intended to allow the user to communicate easily with modelers who are not system simulation experts. the programming language is a very simple language that allows for the representation of any problem using a combination of variables, constants, expressions, operators, and structures. the language includes a mechanism for representing objects that contains the state of an object and the methods available for changing the state. 84d34552a1
