tf2keys-api v1.1.8
tf2keys-api
Allows interaction with the TF2Keys.net item price API.
Important note: TF2Keys.net is still under development and a lot of the APIs functionality is therefore currently unavaible. I've deployted a test server running the API, it does work as intended, but has a limited item list. Hence the module returns an error when requesting some item prices. I've only made the module public for reporting errors, requesting features & testing the server's limits. For testing purposes I've disabled the need of an valid API Key, just parse a random string.
The API is built to be as self-documenting as possible, but if you find yourself overwhelmed, we've created this module & repository to make it easier for you to interact with TF2Keys.net and the price requesting aspect of its API.
Have a question about the module or programming in general? Do not create a GitHub issue. GitHub issues are for feature requests and bug reports. Instead, send an email to support@tf2keys.net. Such issues may be ignored!
The example folder includes:
- Requesting & saving price data for TF2 items.
- Using the price data for a TF2 trade bot & displaying it on a website.
All examples require a valid API Key, you can get yours at TF2Keys.net/settings.
