skyward sword hd is a step in the right direction. it feels more like the classic zelda games than breath of the wild ever did. the new controls and responsive motion controls are a welcome change for longtime fans, but the game lacks the kind of innovations that the original legend of zelda games had. i'm not trying to dissuade anyone from getting this hd port, but i would recommend waiting for this game to be on the cheap, and definitely before you pick up breath of the wild. the two zelda games are completely different experiences, and it may be worth trying both before deciding which one is more to your liking.
