hello, i'm a 16 year old girl, who is fairly new to sims. i got the original sims 3, and i absolutely love it. (it was a christmas gift, so i'm not sure i had much choice.) i also got the expansion packs for it, and everything was working fine, so i didn't think of it until after. then, i opened up my cd drive, and realised that the main folder was blank, only with one folder left..and that was the expansion folders.does that sound right?!?? ok, i'm not sure if i'm explaining this right, but i just can't find the original.iso file anywhere. it's not on my desktop or the programme files, and i've tried re-downloading it from the website, and it didn't work. ok, i'm a bit on the stupid side of the scale, but i don't know what i'm doing wrong. if anyone can help me, it would be very much appreciated. thanks and have a nice day!


you have to download the sims 3 on a computer that is on the internet. not on a local network or a dvd- or anything like that. so, make sure your computer is on the internet and then download on your sims 3 from the website.
