  • If an item isn't found then -1 is found.
  • The input array must be sorted.

import binarySearch from 'thunder-binary-search';

let arr = [1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7];

// Get the index of 6.
binarySearch(arr, (item) => {
  if (item === 6) {
    return 0; // found
  } else if (item > 6) {
    return 1; // greater than
  } else {
    return -1; // less than
  }
}); // 5

import binarySearch from 'thunder-binary-search';

  {score: 3},
  {score: 14},
  {score: 15},

];

// Get the index of the object with a score of 3.

  if (item.score === 3) {
    return 0; // found
