TicTacToeAI

Are you building your custom tic tac toe? Are you looking for a way to boost your game adding AI?

This is what i'm trying to accomplish with this library.

Tic Tac Toe AI is the javascript implementation of the MiniMax (depth first) Algorithm that let you build easily an unbeatable AI, for browser and Node.js.

1. Installation

npm install --save tictactoe-ai

2. Usage:

• Nodejs:

  var tictactoe = require('tictactoe');

  var board = tictactoe.TicTacToeBoard(['','','','','','','','','']); //empty board flattened
  var aiTeam = board.oppositePlayer("X");
  aiPlayer = tictactoe.TicTacToeAIPlayer();
  aiPlayer.initialize(aiTeam, board);
  var move = aiPlayer.makeMove();
  if(move != null){
    board.makeMove(aiTeam, move);
  }
  console.log(board.board);

• browser:

  import the script:

  <script type="text/javascript" src="node_modules/tictactoe/dist/tictactoe.min.js"></script>

  //TicTacToe is attached to window object
  var board = new TicTacToe.TicTacToeBoard(['','','','','','','','','']);
  aiPlayer = new TicTacToe.TicTacToeAIPlayer();
  //same as nodejs from here on

run with:

gulp

gulp dist (for the minification)
