What is this repository for?

This is a custom video overlay with the requested features: Play/Pause the video Change the playback rate Adjust the volume Mute the video Toggle on/off closed captioning Jump back 10 seconds Jump forward 10 seconds Seek within the video and see the progress Show the seconds elapsed and the duration

How do I get set up?

I hope build the overlay into a npm package for easy importing to your project too!

But for now:

Step 1. Download or clone repo into local directory Step 2. Npm install Step 3. Navigate to local directory and type the following into the terminal: parcel ./src/index.html Step 4. In google chrome, point your browser to http://localhost:1234 Step 5. Enjoy this video overlay built from scratch

I shouldn't need too much contribution to this project after I'm done, but feel free to improve it for yourself.
