tmp-el

temporarily add an element to the page.

Installation

Install with component(1):

$ component install matthewmueller/tmp-el

API

tmp(el, prop)

Add el to an off-page element temporarily, calling prop before removing the element again. prop may be either a string or a function.

Using a function:

var width = tmp(el, function(el) {
  return el.offsetWidth;
})

Using a string:

var width = tmp(el, 'offsetHeight')
