Provided Commands
create-sprints
Creates a set of sprints to cover a PRD period.
Usage
create-sprints [-s|--stack <NAME>] [-n|--lines <K>] [-f|--follow]
Generic Arguments:
* --debug
Produce lots of output about what is happening.
* --noop
Don't actually modify anything.
Required Arguments:
* --period <PERIOD>
DIT period (`18P2`) to create sprints in.
* --next-period
Create sprints in the upcoming DIR period (based on current date).
* --board-id <BOARD ID>
The ID of the Jira Agile board to create the sprints in.
* --board <BOARD NAME>
The name of the Jira Agile board to create the sprints in.
* --sprint-name <SPRINT NAME>
Name (prefix) of the sprints to create. This will have the start
appended to it.
Optional Arguments:
* --unplanned-work
Create an 'unplanned-work' issue in each sprint.
* --project-id <PROJECT ID>
The ID of the Jira Project to create the 'unplanned-work' issues in
* --project <PROJECT NAME>
The name of the Jira Project to create the 'unplanned-work' issues
in.
* --unplanned-description <DESCRIPTION>
Value of the 'description' field for the 'unplanned-work' issues.
* --unplanned-component-id <COMPONENT ID>
The ID of the Jira Componenet to use for the 'unplanned-work'
issues.
* --unplanned-issuetype-id <ISSUETYPE ID>
The ID of the Jira Issue Type to use for the 'unplanned-work'
issues.
* --unplanned-priority-id <PRIORITY ID>
The ID of the Jira Priority to use for the 'unplanned-work' issues.
Examples
Create sprints for whatever the upcoming DIT period is in a board named 'My Board'
create-sprints --board='My Board' --sprint-name='My Team' --next-period
Create sprints for the 2019P2 DIT period and include an un-planned work issue in each one
create-sprints --sprint-name="Platform Sprint" \
--next-period --board="ISE PLATENG Sprint" \
--unplanned-work --project="ISE-Platform Engineering"
