f12006downloadcompletopc,Q: iPad WebView help: if I tap on list item the text disappears Ok, iPad users first :), I have my iPad WebView and I do all of my web surfing on it. I have been looking for a long time now and really cannot make this work. First thing first I have a nice looking custom UITableView (which has been a huge pain to make, it seems like there should be a method for this so I am not calling the method everytime I touch the UITableViewController) The problem is that when I tap on one of the list items that are in the table view, the text disappears (even though I have added under shouldDisplay cell from the table view controller the following). I have tried setting the height of the cell and that does not help. Any help will be greatly appreciated. A: After doing a lot of research, I have discovered that there is an undocumented property that I discovered called canAdjustHeightForRowAtIndexPath. It turns out that the reason that I was not seeing the list items in my table view cell, was that the table cell for each item was not added to the table view. In my case I was using a custom cell and that is why I did not see the problem. I found that out by doing the following: CGRect entryFrame = self.tableView.tableHeaderView.frame; CGRect maxFrame = self.view.bounds; CGFloat height = CGRectGetHeight(entryFrame) - CGRectGetHeight(maxFrame); I set the height of the header to the height of the header minus the height of the view which gave me the correct height for the header in my table view. I hope this helps anybody that is having the same problem. cheers! City: Proceedings of the Sixth Agricultural... and Industrial Association (1856) The following article was written by Harry Coit for publication in the Chicago Record. Among the many papers of the "family of daily papers," of which the Chicago Record was one, it was natural that the subject of the possibility of introducing the shaft mill into this city should be among the first subjects discussed. In the rest of the world this invention had been favored for more than a quarter of a century, and in more than one country, where it was not so favored, it had at various times done good business in spite of a certain degree of ridicule. Notwithstanding this, in 1856 the possibility of its adoption here was not taken seriously, and there was a distinct disposition to ridicule. But the fact that this paper was so well represented at the meeting in August proved that the question was grave indeed. The following report of the meeting showed that the reasons for doubt had at last been removed. In the light of the past, this invention merits serious consideration, and no matter what may be the opinions of persons outside the city it must be admitted that the city has become a leader in this matter. 84d34552a1
