i was wondering how you would go about modifying the source code oftornado, specifically for x86_64-linux. i would like to add someadditional functionality to the c program, and am currently using xwindows. my goal is to make a project that will allow me to use thetornado program and add my own code. i would like to use a windowsproject for this. i am familiar with vc++, and have created severalprojects before, but i have never used the msvcsdk before. i have alot to learn, as i am not very experienced with windows, and i amhaving a hard time finding any useful information on how to use themsvcsdk to accomplish this goal.thanks for any help!-andy

first you run the readin program from dos on a line of text. the line of text will be stored in a variable called result. you can now do whatever you want with this line, like create another file, or save it as another file. the writeout program takes the line of text stored in result and writes it to the file you pass to it. you can then run this writeout program from dos on a line of text. the line of text will be stored in a variable called result2. you can now do whatever you want with this line, like create another file, or save it as another file. to get started: start tornado from dos. enter a path to a file that will store the text that will be written to the file. the path can be the name of the file you want to write to (ie: myfile.txt) or it can be a directory you want to write to. the path can be relative to the directory that contains the file (ie: myfile.txt) or it can be an absolute path. readin: the readin program reads a line of text and saves it to a variable called result. readin file.txt readin result writeout result2 file.txt writeout result2 file.txt 84d34552a1
