The 2023 World Men’s Curling Championship runs from 1–9 April in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, at TD Place Arena, as the 13 of the top rinks converge to compete for global honours.

At the end of the week-long round-robin stage, where all the teams play each other once, the top six teams will advance to the play-offs.

The top six teams at the end of the round-robin phase advanced to the play-offs. Those that finish first and second receive byes to the semi-finals, while the third, fourth, fifth and sixth ranked teams compete in qualification games for the semis.

In the play-off games, the third-ranked team meets the sixth, while the fourth and fifth-ranked teams play one another. The winner of these two games advance to the semi-finals.

The winners of the semi-finals then meet in the final to contest the world title while the other two teams compete in the bronze-medal match.

The 13 teams in the tournament are Canada, Czech Republic (Czechia), Germany, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Norway, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye and United States of America.
